Dean Fujioka Appointed as the First AFA Ambassador in the History of the Asian Film Awards

The Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) has announced that for the first time in its history, the Asian Film Awards (AFA) will introduce an AFA Ambassador along with four Youth Ambassadors representing different Asian countries. These five individuals will serve as the official faces of the 18th Asian Film Awards (AFA), set to be held in Hong Kong on March 16, 2025 (Sunday).

Dean Fujioka has been appointed as the AFA Ambassador, marking the first time an actor has held this role.

"I am truly honored to serve as the Ambassador for the 18th Asian Film Awards.
Hong Kong is where I debuted as an actor and began my career. I look forward to celebrating and promoting Asian cinema together with all of you."
